Team Building is a great way to get your group working together on a delicious outcome! Here are some quick FAQ’s on our event standards – please keep in mind that anything is possible and we are willing to work with you to ensure the best possible event for your group.
What is Team Building?
•Team Building is a way for your group to interact with each other in an informal setting away from the usual work environment. At Liaison College we do this in our teaching kitchens and the interactive project is a meal that your group prepares by working together under the supervision of our Chef Instructors.
How is the Event Structured?
•For a typical event, your team will arrive at ascheduled time and receive an apron, and a chef’s hat; we supply a light refreshment while the group mingles prior to beginning. The group is then welcomed by the Chef Instructor and an overview of the 3-course menu is given. The group is divided into “teams”, and the teams are off to start their culinary mission.
•While the food is being plated by our Chef, the teams will proceed into the dining room where they will get comfortable and get ready for their delicious meal to be served!
How do you choose a Menu?
•In order to assist you in creating a delicious menu, our Chef will gladly give you some great menu ideas. We will gather information about the dynamics of your group: size, dietary restrictions, preferred dates, themes and all of the necessary information to help us plan a great event for your team.
When is the event booked and confirmed?
•Once you have approved the date, menu and costs etc., we will draft a contract for your event and you will pay a deposit (cash, Visa, MasterCard, cheque) with the balance due on the day of the event.
What is the Cost?
•Price varies pending on menu and group size.
What is the minimum/maximum per event?
•A group size typically ranges from 6 – 25 people.
