Let us make your life a bit sweeter...our baking classes will help you develop pastry skills and learn the foundations of baking techniques. After a class or two, you will be making a dessert for that next potluck – join us for a fun filled, tasty time. Make new friends while learning how to make sweet creations.



These classes can be sold individually or as a series of 10 (choose all 10 classes and receive a discounted price). Individual classes are $150.00.

NOTE: The Holiday Baking classes are not included in the series of 10 classes. The cost of the Holiday Baking classes is $150.00.

A recipe book is included with all the recipes covered in the program.

Equipment, aprons and food are all supplied. Please bring in Tupperware containers to take home some of your leftover creations.

Assembling and preparing icing for simple and specialty cakes along with basic decorating techniques

Cancellation: Liaison College may cancel the class at any time if there is not sufficient enrollment or in the case of imminent weather. A full refund will be made to all participants if the classes are cancelled by the school. Any cancellations less than 48 hours, made by a participating student, before the first class will not be refunded or transferable.

Allergies: Liaison College cannot guarantee any food allergies or sensitivities since the classes are held in an operational commercial kitchen facility. Students take the program at their own risk.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURE: In the event of a medical emergency, Liaison College staff is trained in basic first aid and is instructed to contact 911 immediately.

LIABILITY: There are inherent dangers in a commercial kitchen. Students hereby agree that they will not hold Liaison College or its instructors liable in the event of an accident. Students assume all responsibility for personal safety and conduct while at Liaison College Whitby Campus. A waiver of liability will need to be signed to participate in the classes.

EQUIPMENT: Students must supply non slip shoes. No open toed shoes are allowed in the kitchen.

Terms & Conditions

Our kitchens contain allergens; use at your own risk – must be 16 or older to attend workshops. Registration by phone or email only; payment required with registration (Visa or MasterCard) – no refund or exchange. Liaison College reserves the right to cancel classes if enrollment is not sufficient (min 6; max 15) – in the event of cancellations, refund will be made to credit card. Participants should bring an apron and Tupperware (which may be used if there is excess food); all other equipment and supplies are included.
