We invite you to learn from the best. Sign up for one of our recreational cooking classes today.


This recreational culinary program will show you how to become a better chef by giving you the skills and techniques to use at home.


Join us Monday nights at 6:30 pm starting November 18th.


  • Our recreational classes do not require any previous experience, if you have a passion for food and like to have fun and meet new people – you will love these experiences!
  • These classes can be sold individually or as a series of 8 (choose all 8 classes and receive a discounted price).
  • A recipe book is included with all the recipes covered in the program.

  • Equipment, aprons and food are all supplied.Please bring in Tupperware containers to take home some of your leftover creations.

Fish is the cornerstone of every good diet; learn how to make it interesting with this healthy cooking class!

Porky Pig – January 20, 2020

Pork, the second white meat.Learning the best cooking methods and how to season to bring out the most flavour are techniques every home chef should master.Join the chef instructor and get some practice coking this ‘other’ white meat!

Cancellation: Liaison College may cancel the class at any time if there is not sufficient enrollment or in the case of imminent weather. A full refund will be made to all participants if the classes are cancelled by the school. Any cancellations less than 48 hours, made by a participating student, before the first class will not be refunded or transferable.

Allergies: Liaison College cannot guarantee any food allergies or sensitivities since the classes are held in an operational commercial kitchen facility. Students take the program at their own risk.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURE: In the event of a medical emergency, Liaison College staff is trained in basic first aid and is instructed to contact 911 immediately.

LIABILITY: There are inherent dangers in a commercial kitchen. Students hereby agree that they will not hold Liaison College or its instructors liable in the event of an accident. Students assume all responsibility for personal safety and conduct while at Liaison College Whitby Campus. A waiver of liability will need to be signed to participate in the classes.

EQUIPMENT: Students must supply non slip shoes. No open toed shoes are allowed in the kitchen.

Terms & Conditions

Our kitchens contain allergens; use at your own risk – must be 16 or older to attend workshops. Registration by phone or email only; payment required with registration (Visa or MasterCard) – no refund or exchange. Liaison College reserves the right to cancel classes if enrollment is not sufficient (min 6; max 15) – in the event of cancellations, refund will be made to credit card. Participants should bring an apron and Tupperware (which may be used if there is excess food); all other equipment and supplies are included.
